Looking Good ... Every Day

PROUD TO ANNOUNCE:  "LOOKING GOOD Every Day" selected as the text book for the Image Consulting curriculum at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York!

So many women complain they have a closet full of clothes ... but nothing to wear.  This book proves that any woman can look and feel lovely every day - regardless of her age, her bank balance or her pant size. In "LOOKING GOOD Every Day", wardrobe consultant Nancy Nix-Rice sets out a simple yet sophisticated standard for determining which clothes and accessories will showcase your own unique beauty.

The book shows how to connect your clothes, accessories and even make-up to your coloring, body type and scale, facial characteristics, lifestyle and personal style. These "points of connection" shift the emphasis from hiding perceived appearance challenges to spotlighting your greatest assets.

I have the CD Looking Good Live! Would your book give me more info then the CD?

Just like any book/movie duo, there is a ton more information in the book. But watching the “movie” (before or after reading the book — and even intermittently over time) can be a big help in digesting all the details in the book. They were intended to reinforce one another and to present the information in ways that tap into the various dimensions of our learning styles.

Do you have this book in another language like spanish or italian?

After reading your book, I feel like I need a new color analysis done. I would like to use your virtual service, but I am worried that my current hair color may not be my best hair color. I am covering my grey, but can’t decide whether I am warm or cool. I am worried that the cost of a virtual color analysis will be wasted if my hair color, a basic tenet of your color philosophy is off. What do you recommend?

You are certainly right that you need to be sure you are coloring your hair appropriately before moving to an updated color consultation. Why don’t you contact me va email at NNR@nancynixrice.com so we can compare our schedules. Maybe one of my trips over the next few months will be to an area near you and we can meet in person.

I would like to order the colour fan in the winter colors. I have been analyzed as being in the winter season category. Can I do this through your web-site? I live in Canada.

I’m sorry Denise, but we don’t produce generic seasonal color fans. Since there are so many variations of human coloring we don’t believe that 4 – or 40 or 404 or even more – standard classifications can match each woman with her optimal color choices. Each of our color fans is individually selected and assembled for its owner. Perhaps the individual who did your seasonal classification can provide you with a duplicate set of those swatches. Best of luck.

Great read. 🙂 Confidence can set you apart. There is something magical about confident women that whatever they say, whatever they wear looks absolutely classy.
