Working from home allows many of us to forego “dressing up” in favor of more comfy attire these days.  But – for our professional image or just our positive sense of self – staying in jammies all day probably isn’t the best choice.  Here are some cozy items that can look good while they feel good.  Plus they are on crazy markdown pricing and will carry seamlessly into cooler months ahead, so now is a good time to invest.

Jjill hasn’t traditionally been a particular GO-TO for myself or clients, but at the moment they have some knit pieces with great colors, comfort and versatility.
Last week I featured the Eve Cardigan and matching shell in Mediterranean green.  Now it is available in all the colors shown below, plus black, white and navy.  I bought the Mediterranean myself and love it; the shell feels like butter and the cardi is airy but substantial. The loose knit can be prone to snags, so this is a sweater for refined situations, not rougher wear.
It comes sized for Misses, Petite, Women and Tall.  Some shorter gals worry about this longer length, but I find it adds much-wanted visual inches to my 5’3″ frame.  The Chablis and Sea Glass colors mix beautifully with bottoms in chocolate, navy or gray.
If you want a cardigan in your Key Neutral, Jjill has those too. The Fringed one is a great wardrobe update if you’ve let your hair color go natural during the stay-at-home period.  Acorn is gorgeous for gals with warmer coloring, and there are matching leggings – one with a suede finish and another in acorn/black houndstooth.  Portobello is a fabulous taupe – very tough to find – and color-matched bottoms are also available at this writing (remember markdown items can go fast).
These pullovers give a polished look over stretch denim or cozy leggings and the colors are beautiful.  The teal one is the most universally flattering color on the planet, and the diagonal seaming adds slimming visual interest.  Plus it’s marked down to a crazy $11.95!  Fabric is a blend with 2% cashmere for luxury, and it’s available in Misses, Petite and Women’s sizes.

The other two are the same style, but in two great colors. What they call Oatmeal is a soft wheat color and their “Rose” is more brick or clay-colored than the pink-sounding the name would suggest.  A cotton/acrylic blend that will be breathable enough for early fall and cozy enough to carry into winter.

Notice how the longer necklace creates a vertical focus to elongate and slim the figure.
Don’t let the thermometer fool you – it will be Fall before you know it.  And wherever we are in this quarantine situation, you deserve to look good and feel good in flattering colors and cozy textures … especially when you can grab them at 40% off the already discounted pricing.  That’s the essence of Smart Shopping!  Prices like this won’t last long – check them out today.

Hi Nancy, thanks for your post! Always love reading them. A highlight in our crazy world. While not working from home – have been wearing scrubs mostly for work even to the office. though I know we can look quite stylist under our white coats. Aloha!
