A Stroke of Jean-ius!
Tired of jeans and pants that don’t really fit? Gap at the waist? Too full thru the hips? Never long enough? THERE IS AN ANSWER!
A relatively new company called Measure & Made offers multiple pant and jean styles in sizes 0-28 and 3 body shapes – Straight, Hourglass and Curvy. Plus multiple inseam lengths to accommodate shorter and taller gals.
Use this link to their website, https://shapesetter.measureandmade.com/NNR
Then click the top-right button “SHAPELOGICS QUIZ” to determine your personalized size. NOTE: It may not start with the same number you’re used to buying. That’s because the shape category solves the issue you’ve probably been trying to accommodate with a bigger size. And no worries: their pants are fully exchangeabe if you don’t get it quite right the first time.
I own 6 pair :
- Skinny jeans
- Straignt jeans
- Boot cut jeans (not too wide!)
- Capris (nicely tapered!)
- Side-zip dress pant
- Jogger (polished look, amazing comfort!)

They are unquestionably the best-fitting pants and jeans I have ever bought. Full transparency: I loved them so much that I became a brand representative. (I get a small thank-you for recommending them, you pay nothing extra.)
Their color range in the pants is a lot less than I’d like, but if all of us ask for more choices (No Brown? BOO!) I think they will ultimately be responsive to the feedback.
Woah, Nancy, I can’t tell you how exciting this is! My whole life I’ve struggled with a short waist, very narrow high hips, thin thighs, flat behind. You get the picture, I can eat a carrot and my waistline explodes (no where to go but out). To fit the waistline, pant legs always need to be altered (sometimes not successfully).
Please, can you expound on some fit issues that you’ve encountered with this company? Any additional tips or tricks would be so appreciated, such as pocket placement, too little or too much stretch, etc. anything in general.
a faithful fan,
Trish
Thank You Nancy !!!
Before I provide an email address to the company and receive more email I don’t want, what is the average cost of these jeans?
They’re in the $99 range – pretty typucal for good jeans.
