Q: It’s embarrassing … what if my closet is the worst mess you’ve ever seen?

      Relax.  This process isn’t about judging your tidiness; it’s about creating a more workable wardrobe.  "Tidy and organized" will happen in the process, so you’ll never have that worry again. 

 

It's not about judging your wardrobe choices either. I'm not the fashion police, ready to give you a ticket for your style mistakes.  I've made plenty of ill-advised purchases myself.  Through years of study I've learned to avoid stop making those mistakes, and I'm ready to teach those techniques to you.

 

 Q: What should I do to get ready?

      As much or as little as you like.  You can clear out garments you know need to go, organize by category and color, have accessories out for review.  Or we can tackle your closet just the way it is right now.

 

 Q: How long does a consultation take?

      Average time is about 2 hours for each step – clean-out, shopping and coordination.  But obviously specific circumstances vary widely.

 

Q: What if I don’t agree with a specific recommendation for my wardrobe?

      Final decisions are always yours.  After all, it’s your clothing, your money, your life.  I'll make recom-mendations more or les strongly depending on how I feel about an individual item, but my job is to offer expert advice and education not to force anything on you

 

Q: When is the best time for a wardrobe audit?

      The ideal time is when you’re changing over your closet for a new season.  But often a specific event triggers your need for a new look.  We can work  productively any time you’re ready. Day of the week doesn’t matter, but Saturdays book up fast, so we can probably schedule a week day sooner.

 

 Q: If I don’t have to dress up for work, will this service still benefit me?

      Unless you live in a nudist colony, I'm betting you want clothes that look great for all your lifestyle needs. In fact, my professional clients say they enjoy having better options for casual and dressy events, maybe more than they enjoy their improved career wardrobes. And I've helped at-home moms, retirees and corporate wives with great results.

 

 Q: Is this service available for men too?

      You bet!  Many clients ask us to work with their husbands’ wardrobes as well.  And the guys seem surprisingly pleased with both the process and the results.
