First Impressions can help you with all the elements of a polished appearance - color selction, hair style, makeup and wardrobe.   I believe a "wardrobe" isn't just a bunch of stuff in a closet.  It's a carefully edited collection of garments and accessories, each of which fits you, flatters you and makes you feel fabulous ... and which work into dozens of different outfits for every event in your life.   You should be able to reach into your closet blindfolded, pull out any piece and know that you can build at least three great looks with that item and walk right out the door - confident that you look like a million.   You can't?  We can help:

Step 1 - Closet Clean-Out   The typical woman's closet is a hodge-podge of a little bit of everything ... and nothing to wear.  So we start with a ruthless review of all the pieces you already own, getting rid of anything that doesn’t support the message you want your look to convey.  And we’ll pinpoint the reasons WHY, so you don’t make the same mistakes again.   I can often spot untapped potential in questionable pieces. A hemline alteration or change of buttons might take an item from “loser” to “love it”.  A necklace can be lengthened or shortened, old oversized earrings can become great pins ... you get the idea.

Discards go to friends, charity or the resale shop –- no guilt allowed.   We’ll develop an organization system for your closet and identify the missing pieces to round out your wardrobe assortment .  Our objective is to create a closet with a consistent theme - and contents that look a lot like YOU.   $105/hour

Step 2 - Structured Shopping   We’re off to your favorite retailers to find those missing pieces.  My knowledge of colors, silhouettes and design detail  will take us diretly to the clothes and accessories that make you look and feel fabulous.  And we’ll find items that work in multiple ways, so you can finally have the versatile wardrobe you’ve dreamed about, no matter the size of your budget..    Closet Clean-Out is not a pre-requisite for shopping services.  $105/hour

Step 3 - The Coordination Station   Last we’ll integrate the new and prior pieces into complete outfits to take you into any lifestyle situation with confidence and style.  We’ll use a systematic approach to identify every possible combination – many you’d never spot on your own – and finish each look with the ideal shoe, hosiery, handbag, jewelry and accessories.  And to help you remember … you’ll get a digital photo album of all your new outfits.

Of course the “end”  is just the beginning.  We’ll schedule an appointment in 6 months to tackle your alternate season clothes.
