I just can't leave this brown/camel/turquoise combo without introducing one more optional piece.
This is the sleeved, button-front shirt styling I mentioned last week. Like the animal print, this fabric repeats all 3 core colors from the original grouping.

Below you'll see it work:
* as a shirt under the turq jacket, with any of the bottoms, 4 options.
* as a stand-alone top with any of the 4 bottoms, 4 options - or 12 options if you consider the choices to tuck it in, tie it at the waist or wear it un-tucked with a skinny belt.
* as a shirt-jacket over the shells and cami - brown, camel or turquoise - with any of the 4 bottoms 12 options. Those also could be tied or belted, of course ...
* as a layering piece under the brown shell witheither of the brown bottoms, 2 options
(I have to admit, I never would have thought of using the shell as a vest, but last month I was teaching a workshop on capsule wardrobing for a group of Texas image consultantsand one of the participants put this look together. We all loved it, provided, of course, that the wearer has slim hips!)
* layered under the camel shell with any of the brown or camel bottoms. 4 options
That's 26 ways to utilize this single garment ... truly indicative of the way this formula approach explodes with possibilities -- if we just keep our eyes open to see them. Notice that the print garment becomes a link itself. We've just finished each look with a simple brass earring to avoid looking cluttered.
Next week we'll introduce a new Core Four and you'll be amazed how many of the existing accent pieces will flow right into it. See you then ...
