If you don't live in my home town you'll have to find your own makeup expert.  Visit the cosmetics department of your favorite store and look around for a sales person wearing a makeup look with the level of polish and definition you want for yourself.  Be sure to ask her to teach you the steps as she's doing them ... not just apply the makeup and show you the finished face.
